Our brand adheres to the value of transferring self-confidence from the devilish concept that the "skinny girl always wins the beauty competition" to the idea that beauty comes from the powerful embodiment of a womanly, independent, intelligent temperament. Made with the modern woman in mind, our products are the perfect complement to those self-sacrificing women who give of themselves daily in social, professional, and family life.
Our Story
Bradoria's journey began when our lovely founder, Jenny Xu, struggling with insecurity over her body, bought a simple bodysuit way back in '94. It was uncomfortable, too tight, awkward fitting, and on top of that — expensive! She wore it once before tossing it and vowing never to buy one again. What a waste!
In 2003, she tried a slimming injection, expecting it to solve her discomfort with her body once and for all! Instead, it caused a hormonal disorder! Traumatized, she had almost given up ever feeling confident in her own skin when, later on that year, she stumbled upon shapewear in Hong Kong. It was love at first sight — and fit! Invigorated with sharing the revolutionary product with other women, she became a reseller of shapewear.
When she moved to the US in 2007, she brought the shapewear with her, opening her first retail store in Brooklyn, NY. Over the years, her lingerie brand gained a wider presence, expanding to 6 stores and a lingerie fashion show in NYC. Now, Bradoria has emerged — rebranded and synonymous with offering the finest bras, shapewear, and body fitting services.
